what is pickleball?
Pickleball is played on a court like a tennis court but smaller, with a lower net. It can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors, making it a versatile option for players of all ages and skill levels. The equipment used includes a paddle, which is larger than a ping pong paddle but smaller than a tennis racket, and a plastic ball with holes, like a wiffle ball.
The game can be played in singles or doubles format, with players taking turns hitting the ball over the net, aiming to land it within the opponent’s court without letting it bounce more than once. The dynamic rallies, strategic placements, and quick reflexes required make pickleball both challenging and addictive.
